About Us

We have provided geotechnical, geological, and materials engineering as well as material testing services across northern and central British Columbia since 1997 and through our predecessor firm since 1982.  Our main office is in Prince George in the centre of our operating area.

We specialize in soil and rock mechanics and their application to slope stability evaluation and stabilization, spread footing and pile foundation design and settlement analyses, highway pavement structure design, retaining walls, rock quarry and gravel pit development, route assessments for utilities, resource roads and highways, and aerial photo terrain interpretation.  Since 2006, we've offered Cone Penetration Testing (SCPTU) to supplement our technical capabilities for analysis of structures on soft foundation soil, for pile foundations, for seismic assessments, and for analysis of structures subjected to dynamic loading such as compressors and wind turbines.

Our well equipped laboratory and experienced technicians are available to carry out a wide range of tests on soil, concrete and asphalt.  We are experienced with the evaluation of aggregates and with mix designs for concrete and asphalt.  Our experienced field staff are available to conduct onsite testing and review services during construction and for Quality Control or Quality Assurance work.
